StudySpace helps students organize study notes, practice quizzes, view announcements, and review their progress. This policy explains what information StudySpace uses and how it is handled.
Information you provide
When you create an account or sign in, StudySpace processes your email address and account identifier. If you choose Google sign-in, Google may also provide your basic profile information, such as your name and profile image, depending on your Google account settings. StudySpace requests basic sign-in and profile information; it does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services.
StudySpace stores study information you add or create, such as personal notes, quiz results, and study progress, so it can be available to you when you sign in.
How information is used
- To create and secure your StudySpace account.
- To show your profile name and organize your personal study information.
- To save and display your notes, quiz history, and study progress across sessions.
- To operate, maintain, and protect the StudySpace service.
StudySpace does not sell your personal information or use Google account data for advertising.
Where information is stored
StudySpace uses Supabase to provide account authentication and store account-linked study information. The website is hosted by Netlify. Google provides Google sign-in when you choose that option. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy terms.
Your browser may keep a sign-in session and temporary study data to keep the website working between visits.
Sharing and retention
Your account-linked notes and study progress are intended to be private to your account. StudySpace does not make them public. Information is retained while needed to provide your account and study features, unless you ask for deletion or a longer retention period is required by law.
StudySpace may disclose information if required by law or when necessary to protect the service and its users.
Your choices
You can choose whether to sign in with Google or with an email and password. You can stop using Google sign-in through your Google Account settings. To ask a privacy question or request help with your account information, contact StudySpace using the support email shown on the Google sign-in screen.
Security and updates
StudySpace uses the security features provided by its hosting and authentication services and takes reasonable steps to protect account information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated as StudySpace changes; the latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
